Amy Thomas Alves B.S., D.C.

Dr. Amy completed her doctorate in chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY on July 24, 2006.  She has been working as a practicing chiropractor in Easton, PA since October 2006 and opened Advanced Health Chiropractic in April 2009.

She is especially interested in wellness and prevention of disease through a healthy and balanced lifestyle.  While completing her externship at NYCC, Dr. Amy was fortunate enough to work with an esteemed professor of the college that is an expert in biochemistry and nutrition.  Through that experience and several post-graduate education hours, she has become dedicated to patient wellness through nutrition and health advice.

Dr. Amy has competed in a wide variety of sporting events throughout her life and is an avid sports fan.  Therefore, she has a natural passion for helping athletes achieve their highest potential.  One way Dr. Amy accomplishes this feat is by adjusting areas other than the spine such as the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot.  She believes adjusting these areas directly decreases recovery time and improves athletic performance.  Luckily, this principle applies to the everyday individual as well as the athlete.
